Description
Zala Levantine Grill is a new Middle Eastern eatery based in a unit next to the vibrant Kerb food market in Camden Lock. Using authentic ingredients and recipes, the venue plates up flavoursome Middle Eastern dishes that showcases the regions diverse and proud culinary history.
The new grill has been created by Tomer Niv, the former head chef at R'amas Kitchen in Jerusalem. Having spent time working in a handful of British restaurants, including the Michelin-starred Fat Duck and The Ledbury, Niv has teamed up with his brother for this new North London venture.
The menu at Zala will feature a variety of small plates, alongside Levantine pizzas, topped with beef, lamb matbucha and fresh seafood, a handful of wraps, pitas and whole-grilled fish that's been baked in a traditional outdoor Taboon oven.
