Hawksmoor Bar Wood Wharf

Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant has stunning views of the River. A stone throw from Canary Wharf Jubilee line, we now have even more availability for large groups or spaces for parties and events, where you can enjoy some of London’s best group dining and event options.

There’s space for up to 250/340 (winter/summer) people for exclusive-use drinks receptions. The bar is perfect for various type of events, from corporate to weddings and other special celebrations. We offer entertainment and full event management.

The Hawksmoor bar at Wood Wharf is different. For starters, it’s the largest we have. It comes with its own heated waterside terrace, too. But what’s unique is that it now offers the same full Hawksmoor dining experience as the restaurant upstairs – just in a more casual environment.

A lively atmosphere and quality drinks are a given, though: our wine and cocktail menus speak to everyone from post-work sippers to a weekend crowd looking for a proper night out.

Or our semi-private spaces are great for after work gatherings, networking, all day delegate events, parties and special celebrations, with space for 160 people.

For seated group-dining experiences it’s 34 guests max.

For corporate events, we can provide AV solutions. There is a 65 inch screen perfect for presentations, meetings, training and all day delegate offerings.

Sitting on the water, Hawksmoor Bar's outdoor terrace has capacity for up to 160 people for a standing reception. In the summer, the deck is a suntrap late into the evening. Perfect for summer social and sun-drenched celebrations. This capacity also includes the option of having our Waterview indoor area that has direct access to the terrace - this would give you a bit of both worlds – indoor and outdoor space, reducing the uncertainty around the weather conditions. The terrace is partially covered and heated.

A stone’s throw from Canary Wharf station, the ground-floor restaurant has a dramatic, double-height dining space featuring a marble-topped bar and vibrant green leather banquette seating, all elegantly lit by bespoke chandeliers.

Seating up to 20 people, our private dining room is named after local legend Queenie Watts - singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell) – and she welcomed them all. “I just love people. People are life, aren’t they?” Pictures of Queenie adorn the walls and while it may not be quite in keeping with her boozer, the long-gone Iron Bridge Tavern.

The private dining room is perfect for lunches, intimate dinners, wine tastings, engagement parties or other form of special occasions that requires a personal touch.

The private room comes with its very own 75 inch TV screen perfect for presentations or to screen private viewings of sporting events such as the Euros.
