Description
Signature Cantonese buns with a Hong Kong aesthetic to match.
The sequel to Soho's iconic bun-centred spot, Bun House and Tearoom is the brainchild of founders Z He and Alex Peffly. Boasting same staple aesthetic that made the first restaurant so Instagrammable; interiors here have been designed by He's Five Line Projects. There is space for 16 covers on the ground floor, with an additional 40 diners upstairs. There is also the option to also take the fluffy buns way to enjoy at home in or in the office (packed lunch goals?).
Get your hands on the iconic fluffy custard buns, plus a few newbies like beef brisket and a pineapple brioche bun. If that's not enough, then seasonal specials like Easter bunny chocolate buns should do it. When it comes to drinks, think tea-centred tipples from cold-brew to cocktails, as well as, beers from breweries in Hong Kong.
