Description
KOL is showcasing Mexican cooking with British ingredients.
Helmed by Mexican chef Santiago Lastra - who launched Noma Mexico - KOL draws inspiration from the acclaimed chef's homeland. No stranger to the capital's dining scene, Lastra previously hosted a residency at Marylebone’s Carousel and now he's back for good.
Bringing a flavour of Yucatán, Baja California and Oaxaca to central London, KOL aims to shine a light on ingredients which are often seen as low-end or simple. Named after the Spanish word 'col' - aka - cabbage, the restaurant will showcase everything from langoustine tacos to traditional tortillas. When it comes to drinks, think mezcal and natural wines.
