Description
From the home-grown Hackney success of Pidgin, James Ramsden and Sam Herlihy together with Pidgin's Head Chef Elizabeth Allen move on to their next restaurant venture. This time, their sights set on a city centre space.
Taking on a whole new ball game of dining, the boys introduce you to trolley service. There'll be 30 dishes on the menu priced from £3 to £12 for you to tuck into at will, picking plates as they pass by and going back for more as often as you like. Inspired by the style of traditional dim sum restaurants Magpie takes its trolley dinners from a Yum Cha experience.
The menu will be shaping up with British small plates from Head Chef Allen to the taste of Chicken heart popcorn with hot sauce, Koji-grilled corn, Mussels with miso and beef dripping toast plus other juicy morsels.
Drinks will follow suit and be delivered on the trolley rounds. Snap up pre-mixed cocktails and some hand selected vinos available by glass, carafe or bottle.
