Orange" dessert, a culinary masterpiece that pays homage to The
Orangery's origins. With tonka bean ice cream, citrus salad, and
decadent chocolate soil, every bite is a symphony of flavours that
transport you back to a time when orange trees graced these
hallowed halls.
Originally designed by the visionary architect Nicholas
Hawksmoor in 1704, and later enhanced by the renowned Sir John
Vanbrugh, The Orangery was commissioned by Queen Anne as a lavish
greenhouse for her beloved orange trees. Over the years, it evolved
into a magnificent 'summer supper house', hosting extravagant royal
gatherings amidst the fragrant blooms of citrus. Today, after
undergoing restoration since 2017, this architectural gem is
reopening its doors as a vibrant restaurant and terrace, ready to
welcome its guests to some extraordinary British dining
experience.
Join for an unforgettable culinary journey where history,
heritage, and gastronomy converge to create an atmosphere of
timeless elegance and unparalleled indulgence. Welcome to The
Orangery.
