The Portrait By Richard Corrigan

Description

The Portrait is a contemporary British restaurant by Richard Corrigan that can be found on the fourth floor of the National Portrait Gallery in Central London, boasting stunning views across Trafalgar Square. Corrigan draws upon his rural upbringing in County Meath and combines it with his experiences across Europe to create a farm-to-fork menu championing the very best of seasonal British and Irish produce.

In the open dining room or at the counter overlooking the busy kitchen, you can expect to devour the likes of secret smokehouse salmon with pomegranate, fennel and horseradish, pigs trotter alongside bacon jam, and inventive mains using some of the best local produce around such as tikka celeriac dressed in tahini, hummus and pistachio dukkha, or free-range chicken Cordon Bleu. Wash it down with a signature cocktail, like The Portrait made with Cygnet gin, mint and cucumber, or a Salt & Vinegar Martini.
