Nestled away in the heart of the City, Ballroom will be serving meatballs with an international twist from its New York-style casual restaurant, with a secret speakeasy cocktail lounge tucked away downstairs.
Specialising in juicy meatballs that are inspired by Christian Arderns’s family history, Ballroom will make use of high-quality meat, seasonal produce and traditional hand-rolling techniques to make their signature dish. Guests will first start by choosing their balls, then a base and side to accompany. Quirky variations include Thai chicken, Asian fish and Moroccan lamb, served with a selection of extras such as tabbouleh, Asian slaw, creamy mash or pasta of the day, giving people the chance to create and combine their own cross-continental dishes.
It’s not just about the balls though, as Ballroom will serve fresh coffee and pastries daily, perfect for those grabbing breakfast before work. As well as this, downstairs will pay host to the Ballroom Basement Bar, a cosy underground speakeasy with exposed brick walls and reclaimed parquet flooring. This will feature a concise menu of meatball tapas, alongside three classic cocktails courtesy of expert mixologists - the negroni, old fashioned and margarita - with wine, spirits and beer also available.
