Minnow brings all-day British seasonal dining to Clapham Common.

The venue comes packed with interesting flourishes, from a walled garden to a vaulted booth lit by a stained glass light box inside the restaurant’s wine cellar. There’s also seating outside for alfresco dining, where passer-by’s can pick up a juice and pay via the ‘honesty box’.

As for food, their all-day menu is composed of English dishes with an international twist, such as their breakfast dish of chilli cornbread with fried egg and avocado, served with paw paw and cayenne. There’s also a Robata grill, cooking up dishes like whole roast poussin. Meanwhile, their drinks range from fresh juices to wine served in “pay as you drink” bottles, as well as local roasted coffee and cocktails, including ‘breakfast cocktails’ for those keen brunchers.
