What they say:
The mastermind behind the May Fair Kitchen and May Fair Bar now focus their attention to a new project, bringing together flavour combinations from across the world for their new Covent Garden restaurant, Monmouth Kitchen. With Amir Jati, the former head of private dining at Nobu, curating the menu, guests can expect to find an array of delectable small plates, created by combining traditional recipes and cooking techniques from vibrant Peru and elegant Italy. Propped up by a great cocktail and fine wine menu, a stylish and opulent dining experience awaits visitors at this new Central London eatery.
What we say:
Fusion food has so often gone horribly wrong. Either the flavours just don't go together or the chef's sacrifice the quality and end up over-complicating every dish. But things will certainly be different here at Monmouth Kitchen. With an experienced team of restaurateurs running things behind the scenes and a world class chef curating the complex menu, expect delicately made dishes and perfectly balanced flavour combinations at this Peruvian and Italian inspired eatery.
