The Sparrowhawk is a gorgeously quaint venue on Westow Hill, with antique furniture, a stunning chandelier and rustic wooden flooring, all set off by colourful flower arrangements on the tables. Relax in the calming environment and on those rare warm evenings, watch the sunset from the cosy outdoor seating area, complete with picnic tables and lush greenery.
A diverse menu gives you the choice to order that tender roast chicken, served with boulangerie potatoes and watercress, or to throw caution to the winds and get the roasted squash and Gorgonzola risotto cakes, with purple broccoli, roasted red peppers, capers and olives, for a reasonable £11. The drinks menu covers everything from bottled beers to peach bellinis, the latter mixing peach puree with prosecco for fuss-free fizz, all for just £8.
