Trio Tom Hill, Clare Lattin and Rory McCoy give a whole load of duck as they bring their third venture Littleduck Picklery to East London. Opened in Dalston, the spot is all about the pickles and ferments as it not only serves up vinegar-y dishes but also has an onsite shop where you can buy your own bottles of krauts, kimchis and kombuchas. The shop also sells Vessel and Time crockery with items such as fermentation crocks and kombucha urns; the venue also shares their secrets with a series of pickling masterclasses in their pickling kitchen.

It's the latest trend for health-conscious foodies and a whole restaurant dedicated to fermenting and pickling has come to East London. Littleduck Picklery is from the same team behind Ducksoup and Rawduck. The third venture combines three elements: shop, all-day eatery and wine bar, all featuring pickles and ferments. During the day, there is a breakfast and lunch menu of hearty English-inspired plates, while dinner rotates around smaller, Italian sharing dishes. Drinks are similarly as pickled as cocktails contain pickling liquors (think dill and caraway vodka), and wine focuses on the biodynamic and natural.
