What they say:
Have you got a hankering for grilled meat and craft beer? Because South London’s about to provide for you. The street food champs over at Hank’s have found a permanent spot in a railway arch at Deptford Market Yard, which is great, considering they’ve made their mark in SE8 already. Alongside the hearty burger offering, they’ve also got a tasty selection of American style craft beers on tap, and a can list curated by their neighbours Hop Burns & Black.
What we say:
Beer’s great and all, but burgers are half the name. Alongside their classic cheeseburgers (made all the better thanks to Hank’s secret sauce), there’s hearty options like the Big Blue, made from 6oz aged beef patty, stilton, caramelised onions, lettuce and dijonnaise. But vegetarians (and vegans, on request), aren’t being left out, with the mouthwatering Big Smoke, created using panko crumbed tofu, smoky mushroom marmalade, garlic aioli, crisp lettuce and American cheese.
