What they say:
East London is about to receive some Eastern flair with the opening of Som Saa in Spitalfields this month. Hosting a slew of regional, Thai food and drink specialities, the familiar Peckham and Clapham Arch name will keep to its high reputation with a distinctly artisan approach. While dinner will lead the way at Som Saa, the eatery will later add brunch and lunch services for those with a hankering for its delectable dishes during the day.
What we say:
We have waited with bated breath for the Spitalfield's location of the already-beloved Thai food name, Som Saa to open. Now that the time is nearly here, our mouths are ready for the fragrant flavours of Asia prepared with the familiar, homegrown freshness that Som Saa is already known for. However, some serious upgrades to speak of include its new, totally trendy warehouse digs, along with a cocktail hour complete with Thai-inspired libations such as the Krahang Old Fashioned made with sandalwood, smoked buffalo trace and mandarin peel.
