This new modern eatery just a short trot Crouch Hill station serves up contemporary British cuisine with a twist, alongside craft beer and cocktails. Fusing the domestic and the international, Hodge Podge crafts interesting and eclectic plates of food ranging from the real classics such as beef and oysters, to more adventurous offerings like its blackened tomato ravioli with apple and miso stock and a monkfish kebab accompanied by an aubergine yoghurt.

With an interesting and often adventurous menu, Hodge Podge creator Simon Hodge is dedicated to producing the most modern takes on traditional British dishes. This flair for the eclectic and seemingly mish-mashed extends to the drinks menu as much as the food one. Local craft beers jostle space with seasonal cocktails that in one instance combine bourbon with blackberry puree and yuzu sake.
