The second opening from this casual Asian-inspired eatery, Flesh & Buns Oxford Circus specialises in the same meat and steamed-bun heavy menu as the original Seven Dials location. Based in the Copyright Building, the Berners Street restaurant is part of the same restaurant group as the hugely popular Bone Daddies franchise and the much-lauded Shackfuyu on Old Compton Street.
Lucky cats line the walls while gold accents give the sister site a slicker feel than the first. There's a nine-course tasting menu, snacks and small plates that act as the perfect accompaniment to a few after-work drinks. The highlight of its menu is, of course, the steamed bao buns. Soft and melt-in-the-mouth, you're invited to fill up on crispy piglet belly, miso grilled aubergine, olive-fed British wagyu and more.
