What they say:
When you think of homemade pasta being made in the window of a restaurant do your thoughts instantly go to Turkish restaurants? Well, they may now. Chef Selin Kiazim's pasta-focused second restaurant, Kyseri, is located in the heart of Fitzrovia and is serving up Turkish cuisine with a twist. Like her first endeavour, Oklava, the menu's four sections each offer just three or four dish choices such as roasted mushroom and cheese manti served with smoked butter, honey and mint, or cemen spiced lamb shoulder with artichokes and smoked chesnut.
What we say:
With capacity for only 35 covers, the space here feels cosy and exclusive with additional terrace seating for the warmer days. You've probably been waiting for any mention of wine to pair with your pasta dish and alas, Laura Christie, Kiazim's business partner, has carefully curating a selection of the very best international sips to compliment these complex and unique dishes.
