The Arber Garden, a public house inspired by the legendary
botanist and philosopher Agnes Arber, is the latest opening
from Open House, whose collection includes The Lighterman in Kings
Cross and The Broadcaster in White City. As well as offering a vast
gin selection and skilfully prepared seasonal food, this new
destination boasts a spacious terrace, brimming with stunning dried
flora and surrounded by lush foliage. The setting features
botanical nods throughout, right from their carefully crafted
cocktails to their bespoke wallpapers. With colour tones carefully
chosen throughout to offer warmth and familiarity, together with
the abundance of preserved flora, guests will want to think twice
about leaving.
With a strong focus on quality, seasonality and local herbaceous
produce, Head Chef describes the menu as “healthy, lighter and
bold”, whilst in keeping with the traditional pub favourites, and
with the addition of some decadent plant-based dishes. Using the
freshest ingredients, many of which are sourced from local farms,
the menu ranges from beautifully prepared brunch dishes to hearty
larger plates and nutritious salads.
