Wing Wing

Description

Starting off in South Korea and proving a roaring success in New York, a 'chimaek' (a combination of the words for 'chicken' and Korean for 'beer') restaurant has opened in central London. Wing Wing is taking over a 100-cover venue at 30 Woburn Place and features a outdoor terrace and a private dining room complete with a TV screen for K-pop renditions as well as a self-service beer station.

Food is predominately ethically sourced chicken which has been double fried in the Korean style and comes coated in a choice of three sauces - soy garlic, hot and liquorice. There will also be a selection of comfort food such as kimchi coleslaw, bao buns and seaweed fries, as well as an innovative beer system that pours from the 'bottom up' using magnets and a special dispenser to ensure quicker pouring and minimising spillage.
