Description
Having trained under renowned French chef Alain Ducasse and working in Michelin-starred establishments around the world, chef Gonzalo Luzarraga has opened his own restaurant in Fulham. RIGO' is spread across three rooms and has a 'kitchens without borders' concept which aims to create international cuisine using unusual ingredients and flavours.
The restaurant has heavy influences from France and Italy, due to the chef's heritage and training at Ducasse's Le Louis XV, as well as tastes inspired from travels in South America, Russia and Asia. There are dishes such as seven-year aged riso Acquerello, black garlic and sea anemone; bone marrow with caviar; and a Pluma of Cinta Senese which consists of oyster, scallop coral and pastinaca.
There are several menus including a lunch menu with two courses priced at £22 per person, along with a £78 tasting menu. The restaurant is built into a Victorian building and has an open kitchen and bar area serving unusual wines and cocktails.
