On Friday, 18th November 2016 we launched Floating Table, an incredible new series of communal feasts set in a unique venue.
Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar has a unique talent for changing the way people perceive and experience Indian cuisine. Atul was the first Indian chef to receive a Michelin star in 2001 at Tamarind, where he was the head chef. His Mayfair restaurant Benares, ranked among best Indian restaurants in London, received its very own star in 2007. Inspired by his native India, Atul combines his heritage with his love of British ingredients to create unique and innovative modern Indian dishes.
Floating Table will take place from November to February. Each chef will create a stunning sharing feast served on long communal tables and surrounded by thousands of plants and trees rehomed from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show earlier this year. With the iconic Zaha Hadid first permanent building in London as a backdrop and space limited to 60 diners, Floating Table promises to be one of the best dining experiences of the season in London.
Helping all Floating Table chefs will be trainee chefs from Café from Crisis, a social training enterprise.
