What they say:

Mele e Pere stole Soho hearts, but now the restaurant company behind the growing dining dynasty has announced a new Hackney home for their latest restaurant. 70 strong with an alfresco space to boot, Gotto Trattoria is a new Italian restaurant in the heart of Hackney Wick primed for a blend of Britain and Italy alike thanks to dishes the likes of octopus polpette and Surrey farm steak with alla fiorentina. Vermouth on tap and small-producer Italian wines make up the bones of the drinks menu.

What we say:

Blending alfresco Italy with urban Hackney, Gotto Trattoria should be a neat gastro retreat for East London's hungry lot.; they may even like the graffiti clad walls of the interior restaurant if they're not too wrapped up supping top notch vermouth out on the restaurants alfresco space alongside fresh flavours and trattoria style bites.
