Lardo Hackney was getting broody for a smaller youngster to focus on the nitty gritty of Italian fodder and provide a handy take-away service. Lardo Bebe is a lively little toddler peddling the best in pizza, pasta and antipasti. Continuing with Lardo's excellent reputation for providing seasonal, fresh grub but allowing the opportunity for a bit more specialisation, Lardo Bebe is a worthy accompaniment and special setting in its own right.

Lardo is having a bit of a moment, and quite rightly considering the absolute excellence it has demonstrated with its original restaurant. Spreading over Hackney to peddle charcuterie, breads, meats and wine at Lonzo HQ, Lardo are also in the process of getting a deli and cooking school up and running. On top of that, Lardo Bebe provides the ideal quick pit-stop supper of Italian satisfaction. What's more, a take-away from this authentically Italian menu signifies a definite step up from a greasy Chinese.
