Description
Legs Restaurant will bring delicious lunchtime options and wine-focused evening dining to a relaxed new space on Hackney’s Morning Lane.
Taking its name from the wine terminology - legs are droplets that form inside the wine glass where drinkers can determine sugar and alcohol content according to how fast they drip to the bottom - head chef Magnus Reid is well known for his time at The Rooftop Cafe. He’ll oversee things in the kitchen, and sample dishes will include suckling pig and chilli jam roll and haddock, clams & cured egg, with smoked aubergine, couscous and dried fruits a tasty vegetarian alternative.
Legs will be making their own pickles and vermouth in the basement, with wine lovers promised a small, regularly rotating list filled with bottles from lesser-known indepenedent producers.
