What they say:

Broadway Market’s newest addition is Tuyo, a pretty little restaurant that’s all about shareable Spanish dishes and bright aesthetics. The venue is immediately open and airy, with guests being greeted by an open kitchen as soon as they walk through the door, whereas the other side hosts the striking blue bar that serves up a number of bespoke cocktails, such as the enticingly named Saffron Aphrodisiac, made from tequila, agave, coriander, lime juice, chilli and saffron. The white walls accentuate the light that flows through the large windows, which also happen to give a great look at the canal below.

What we say:

Sharing delicious dishes in bright surroundings is at the heart of Spanish food culture and that’s something Tuyo seems to have got down. Still, nailing the aesthetics means nothing if you haven’t nailed the food either, but that isn’t something Tuyo should worry about too much: their menu mainly hails from Spain, with influences from Turkey and Greece too, serving up smaller, tasty plates like harissa lamb rump served with pisto and black olive couscous. There are a number of larger plates too, such as chicken thighs with honey-poached apricots, sumac yoghurt and pistachios, as well as charcuterie and cheese supplied from mainly Italy and Spain. Then you can wash it all down with one of their unique cocktails – now that’s a summer break in London we can get on board with.
