You may know the name Rudy’s from their hit Camden Market diner, or you may recognise them as the folks who opened the world’s first all-vegan butchers - either way they are an absolute must for herbivores in the capital.
The newest site of Rudy’s Vegan Diner will be serving an American-inspired menu of plant-based junk food from Upper Street. Key plates include the Dirty burger with soya beef patty, baycon, cheeze and onions, Rudy's Reuben stuffed with seitan pastrami, Russian dressing, nut cream cheeze, pickles and sauerkraut, and the Buffalo burger with crispy soya and seitan chick'n, spicy sauce and mayo. The new site will also feature the addition of a brunch menu, which we reckon will go nicely with their selection of dairy-free freakshakes such as the childhood memories with chocolate peanut butter.
As well as dining in, the Islington outpost gives you the chance to purchase a range of meat-free alternatives to take home from the adjoining Rudy’s Vegan Butcher. Additionally, a home delivery service will be available for those living in North London, offering a selection of signature DIY kits... including the pastrami-packed Rueben.
