What they say:

With venues in Muscat, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, this new bar and restaurant on the Brompton Road will be Caramel's first opening in the Western hemisphere, serving up food inspired by contemporary American cuisine such as sushi and ribs. Opting for all-day dining, the kitchen will be serving up breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, with dishes such as tempura lobster, TNT shrimp, and honey and pecorino ravioli already announced for the forthcoming menu.

What we say:

Known for its sophisticated interiors, and American-inspired plates, Caramel will be opening its first restaurant outside the Middle East this spring. A few menu sneak peeks have already been announced, with beef sliders, tempura lobster and honey and pecorino ravioli making some notable appearances. The Kensington bar and restaurant will be open from breakfast through dinner, with the added bonus of an afternoon tea as well, while at the bar there will be an exciting cocktail selection from Purl's Bryan Pietersen, including a special bittersweet, citrus take on the humble gin and tonic.
