What they say:

Dishoom is opening its fifth London venue after launching sites in Shoreditch, Covent Garden, Kings Cross and Carnaby Street, delivering more of the Indian small plates they’ve become famous for. The places are modelled on old Irani cafes of Mumbai (back when it was called Bombay), with both the dishes and drinks taking influence from old Bombay. Expect Bombay-themed cocktails, Dishoom IPA and sweet sharbats coming from the bar and lots of Indian sharing plates from the kitchen.

What we say:

The newest Dishoom string to the restaurant chain’s bow is probably one of the biggest yet, coming in at 7500sq ft, which is a lot of room to tuck into some tasty Indian food. And that’s good news, because Dishoom are open from breakfast – serving up their trademark dishes like the bacon naan breakfast roll – all the way till dinner, where the menu is all about marinated and grilled meats, seafood and paneer. There’s also biryanis washed down by a series of chai teas, wines and beers, meaning Indian food fans can be happy at all hours of the day.
