What they say:
The Wright Brothers hope to make a splash with the latest addition to their ever-expanding oyster and seafood empire. Based on the former site of the La Bouchée on Old Brompton Road, the Wright Brothers Oyster House will be showcasing all the delicious produce of their very own Duchy of Cornwall oyster farm. Using a range of mouth-watering sauces and spices, their chefs hope to add a modern twist to this classic delicacy. Alongside oysters, head chef Philip Coulter has created a menu composed of mouth watering seafood dishes, sourced from some of the finest sea ports and farms in the world. From the golden waters of Portugal to the icy rivers of Northern Scotland, this West London hangout will bring together a number of irresistible flavours from all of the world.
What we say:
The Wright Brothers have a knack for opening award-winning restaurants and bars. Having already successfully set up seafood sites in Soho and Spitalfields, their freshly sourced fish and arsenal of exotic marinades and spices has proved to be a winning combination. No doubt the team will replicate that here. South Kensington is the perfect location for this Parisian-inspired bistro. But a new addition is their Mermaid cocktail bar. Seafood enthusiast will be able to sample an intriguing array of flavour combinations, as their talent team have paired mouth-watering cocktails and tantalising wines with their impressive oyster menu. Poached, pan-fried and spiced to perfection, say hello to this trendy, metropolitan hangout.
