What they say:
The award-winning chicken connoisseurs Wingmans have finally settled down into a permanent spot in Kilburn. Choosing the location formerly occupied by the Kilburn Ironworks (RIP), the street food maestros are opening their own venue with a fully-stocked bar and a late license, as well as coming fully kitted with a surround sound music system, two 50" inch screens, and a projector for sports. Add in the fact that they were the winners of Best Buffalo Wings and Best Wild Wing at last year’s Wingfest and you’re in for a real spicy treat.
What we say:
The menu is specific to their permanent site, so you’ll have to travel there to get full use of it. Of course they’ll be delivering their most famous wings, created using gourmet chicken and slavering in them in the notorious sauce, but you get special options like the Shanghai Oriental, that’s covered in ginger, spring onion, red chilli, black sesame, kewpie and coriander. Alongside your protein, they have top sides too, ranging from their fan-favourite truffle mac & cheese, to their fries with smoked rosemary salt.
