hicce

Description

hicce is a restaurant and bar serving up modern British dishes in an unusual Coal Drop Yard setting. The brainchild of Gordy McIntyre and Pip Lacey, former head chef at Mayfair's Murano and Great British Menu winner, this quirky London spot (pronounced ee-che) is housed within the ever-so stylish Wolf & Badger.

A perfect fusion of old meets new, hicce serves up contemporary plates made with traditional techniques such as marinating, curing and pickling, alongside a delicious range of meats, fishes and vegetables cooked over a wood fire. While the ingredients are primarily British, dishes take some influence from Japanese and Scandinavian cooking. A house specialty is its rye bread, which is made in-house daily.
