What they say:
MEATliquor is opening another London venue after its success across the country, just a stone’s throw from King’s Cross station. The venue lives up to its namesake, serving a mix of hearty burgers and delicious cocktails. The burgers come in a variety of flavours, from the simple cheeseburger to bespoke flavours made with the help of a series of trademarked sauces. The cocktails follow suit, with a menu formed of classics with a twist to the house’s own recipes. They also have a great selection of milkshakes, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
What we say:
MEATliquor has managed to combine two of our favourite things under one, happy brand: meat and booze. Is there a more perfect marriage? Well, it gets even better as you dive into the menu, with succulent burgers like Green Chili Cheeseburgers or the Dead Hippie Burger, made of two French mustard-fried beef patties, secret dead hippie sauce, cheese, pickles and minced onions, which is making our mouths water with just the sound. Or you could nibble on their fries (which are lovingly covered in sauce) while sipping on of their intriguing cocktails. The Game Over, for example, comes with the warning that your only allowed two at any one time. When you find out it's made from gin, vodka, rum, tequila, triple sec and absinthe, you know why how it earned its name.
