James Ramsden and Sam Herlihy, the minds behind Pidgin and Magpie, are coming together once more to launch an all-new casual dining concept in King's Cross. Despite recently closing the shutters for good at Magpie in Mayfair, the duo are set to open Sons + Daughters in Coal Drops Yard at some point next month.
Things are pretty hush-hush for now, but it seems like the new venture will sport a menu of sandwiches, salads, coffee and soft-serve ice cream. Additionally, accommodating the slew of city workers seeking after work refreshment come 6pm, there will be a selection of cocktails, beer and wine on tap.
For those of you who just can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store, check out the Sons + Daughters food van that’s housed itself in Granary Square. They'll be there from the 15th August, serving a choice of three dishes alongside wine, beer, cocktails and snacks.
