Description
Looking over Regent's canal in the heart of King's Cross, The Greek Larder is a 7 days a week restaurant and food store offering up a palate of Mediterranean foods and produce.
Capturing their homegrown Aegean essence, restaurateurs Theodore Kyriakou and Panos Manuelides have brought the Athens street food culture and authentic Greek recipes of their homes to the capital. Translating a love of herbs and of the sun, sea and land, chef Theodore has infused the Greek Larder with native flavour and character. The menu serves up traditional dishes and regionally inspired foods from all over Greece whilst giving a contemporary, spacious physique to your eating experience. With olive oil features and an open plan dining area framed by the sweeping kitchen area along one wall, The Greek Larder is a large, open space of culinary flair and Mediterranean finesse.
The food store attached to the restaurant sells independently sourced Greek produce from local and specialist producers fresh from Greece and its culinary robust islands. The likes of kefalotyri and kasseri cheeses, charcuterie, jars of wild mushrooms and figs, olives, olive oils, sun-dried tomatoes in oil, Cycladic honey, nuts, breads and traditional sweets and delicacies all grace the shelves of the food store. The artisan cuisine of the Aegean has arrived.
