Description
The beautiful L'Eto chain is adding another to its midst on Brompton Road. Purveyors of artful patisserie, scrumptious lunch buffets and elegant decorations as well as excellent a la carte food, L'Etro are masters of elegance.
Interiors are quirky, mirroring the eccentric and delicate cakes and truffles in the window. An imposing apothecary chest stands in for a counter, bold wallpaper adorns the wall and flowers jump out from their vases. The effect is fresh and homely, a mix between Downton Abbey and rustic farm house interiors. It is the perfect setting in which to enjoy the many delectable foodie offerings.
Rows and rows of cakes and truffles beckon you in from the street; settled as they are in the window to invite hungry passers by inside. The breakfast pastries make this a fantastic choice for brekkie, and the buffet counter sagging with salads, quiches and cold meats makes for a perfect lunch. Inspired by European and English cuisine, the a la carte menu doesn't disappoint.
