What they say:
The sunny Hawaiian shores can feel like a million miles away when the temperamental London summer is in full swing, but luckily you’ve got the chance to get a bite of it thanks to Island Poké. The second site for this restaurant after their successful opening on Kingly Street in Soho, they ofer a variety of poké – a Hawaiian dish made of fresh fish in a soy-based dressing, with steamed rice and garnishes - to visitors of the bustling Broadgate Circle. And while there’s indoor space, they’ve got cute swinging seats to really transport you to those sandy beaches you’re longing for.
What we say:
I think I speak for everyone when I say: I want a holiday. And with Island Poké being just two foot away from Liverpool Street station, at least I can pretend I’m there. The restaurant’s open all day, serving up Hawaiian Kona Coffee and dishes like salmon & yuzu cream cheese rolls for breakfast, a ‘Bowl of the Month’ of poké for a lunch time offering, and lots of poké for dinner. There’s some site-specific dishes here too, with poké nachose and poké tacos making an appearance.
