Join us at City Pizza Pilgrims for two very special evenings. Hosted by Robert Curbishley, Product specialist and Olive oil sommelier From Belazu . Bob will take you through a guided tour of Olive Oil, a brief history as well as sampling three legends in the olive oil game. The Taggiasca and Nocerella oil, as well as star of the show, Early Harvest oil from Belazu.
THE EARLY HARVEST CALZONE
A spring calzone celebrating the early harvest of our extra virgin olive oil and British asparagus. This pizza is stuffed with blanched asparagus, asparagus cream, smoked mozzarella, Parmesan and served with a little bottle of Belazu Early Harvest olive oil to pour into your calzone!
To accompany the evening you will be greeted with a Dirty Olive Gimlet washed cocktail and antipasti. Followed by the Pizza, we present to you: The Early Harvest Calzone, which will take centre stage with its own mini bottle of Early Harvest Olive Oil which you can then take home with you too. For afters, you are served ice cream with Verdemanda Olive Oil and sea salt and then to finish it all off a shot of our House Made Limoncello or espresso. Bob will be guiding you through along the way alongside some tasting notes.
