Berenjak Borough

Berenjak Borough takes inspiration from traditional Iranian townhouses found in the rural foothills of the Alborz mountains which surround the city of Tehran.

A familiar scene occupies the ground floor: an open kitchen, where guests can take a seat at the lively counter and watch all the action, just as they can in the Soho original. Alternatively, they can ascend to the first floor to find a new Berenjak experience: an Iranian ‘dining room’, where convivial group feasts on large tables are the order of the day.

The menu at Berenjak Borough offers a line-up of celebratory sharing dishes inspired by the large family gatherings of Kian’s childhood – like Zereshk Pollow, a charcoal rotisserie saffron chicken with sweet and sour barberries and shirazi salad. These are joined by Persian stews, as well as Berenjak’s classic kababs and mazeh.

A greatly expanded wine list showcases the best of Middle Eastern winemaking, with wines from Israel, Morocco, Turkey, Greece, Armenia, and Lebanon’s famous Chateau Musar making the list.
