Description
Backed by the Richard Caring group, the Ivy Cafe in St John's Wood is the latest addition to the Ivy restaurant collection. The team behind this new eatery have stuck to a winning formula, offering an all-day menu of cafe-style dishes alongside a delectable drinks menu made up of intriguing tastes and palatable tipples.
Spread across various different seating areas, and boasting a suave, clean-cut bar, the entire venue can cater for 120 diners at a time. But thankfully reservation aren't crucial, as a set number of tables are set aside for walk-ins each night; part of the refreshing attempt to draw in the local community and fill the restaurant with a homely, welcoming neighbourhood feel.
The team of chefs, bartenders and restaurateurs here are looking to live up to the reputation of their sister venues in Wimbledon and Marylebone. Guests can tuck into a selection of classic dishes, including the venue's signature Ivy Cafe shepherd pie and a hearty plate of steak, egg and chips. The brunch menu comes to fore on the weekends and boasts all the classics, such as eggs benedict and chicken milanese, while the drinks menu is composed of signature cocktails and freshly squeezed juices.
