A WINE JOURNEY ACROSS SPAIN
Join the celebrations of Marylebone’s Food festival with an evening of gastronomic voyage at Ibérica Marylebone.
Discover the diverse regional flavours of Spain, with impressive wines and an accompanying tapas menu curated under the direction of Michelin-starred Chef Director, Nacho Manzano.
Enjoy four wines from both the heart of Spain, and it’s coastal regions. Sample crisp sparkling wine from Cataluña, Galician white with a characteristic shore like smell, vibrant red wine from Castilla y León poured from the pórron (a traditional Spanish drinking vessel used to aerate the wine), and undiscovered Andalusian sherries, each introduced at your table by our wine expert and accompanied by our fusion of classic and contemporary Spanish plates.

Felt treated like 2nd class citizen for not being in main restaurant selecting form the full price menu. We did not feel welcomed and ushered outside to the rear of the restaurant where no seats or tables or pedestals were set up to put your glass or plate on. For the 'deal' we had, the wine was served in a small plastic glass and the tapas like items for us were both served to my partner on her plate whilst I waited for mine only to be told this. For the two vouchers I submitted for some rib eye turned out to be a small sliver served to my partner who consumed it thinking it was part of her 'package'. All in all it felt rushed and a bit of a side show for the restaurant manager(s). We duly departed and had a lovely Sunday roast at a nearby pub. Will not be returning to The Lurra anytime soon.
