From the same team that brought you the likes of Portland, Clipstone and Quality Chop House comes Emilia; a high-end Italian dining restaurant in Mayfair. Taking its name from the Emilia-Romagna region, Emilia is located within the same building as renowned auction house Bonhams.
A no-frills space, Emilia encompasses a ground floor cafe and wine bar that gives way to a modest courtyard, and an upstairs restaurant taking you from lunch to dinner. A la carte options include crispy pig's trotter, lentils, salsa verde and young leeks alongside veggie-friendly plates like walnuts and ricotta ravioli.
Drinks lean towards aperitifs like negronis and sours, as well as a curated selection of over 20 wines available by the glass. If you really want to push the boat out, then ask for the Auction List which features more than 100 odd bottles from collectors sourced by Richard Harvey, Master of Wine and Head of Bonhams' wine department.
