Jamavar

Based on Mount Street just a stone's throw from Hyde Park, Jamavar, focuses on recreating authentic flavours and dishes from across India's vast culinary canvas. 

The venue is spread across two floors and was decorated by the team at Fabled Studio, taking inspiration from the Viceroy's house in New Dehli during the times of the British Raj. Bright colours of various Jamavar shawls contrast brilliantly with the deep tones of the dark marble surfaces and the mirror-embellished bar. Dripping with elegance, guests can expect to be transported to a far away, exotic location as soon as they set foot inside this sanctuary.

Of course, the menu of exquisite dishes are the focal point here. From the idyllic plains of the Punjab to the sea-swaying shores of Kerala, expect to see a delectable showcase of the finest spices and flavours India has to offer. Tapping into traditional recipes and shaping them perfectly for London's palate, head chef Rohit Ghai has used his years of experience to perfectly blend the heritage of India with the demands of 21st century metropolitan dinning. As such, alongside the large dishes, guests can indulge in a selection of delicious, palate-pleasing small plates, such as Lobster Neeruli, Coconut Payasam and Sindhi Gosht.
