Matsya signifies reincarnation, hence staying true to the name the team at Matysa went around India to find those hidden recipes and present it to London in a new avatar.
Matsya are reincarnating secret, traditional Indian recipes which have been forgotten or lost from the entire subcontinent. This is a brand new concept in London and their aim is to take you on an Indian culinary journey with their menu, you can try dishes that you have never tried before from across India in the heart of Mayfair.
Their vision dates back centuries, in Hindu mythology Matsya, the fish, represents the beginning of life and a fresh start, at Matsya you will enjoy an intimate fine dining experience while you get transported to different parts of India with their unique dishes.

The name Manali is regarded as the derivative of 'Manu-Alaya' which literally means 'the abode of Manu'. Legend has it that sage Manu stepped off his ark in Manali to recreate human life after a great flood had deluged the world. Manali lies in the North of Kullu Valley. The valley is often referred to as the 'Valley of the Gods'. Old Manali village has an ancient temple dedicated to sage Manu. Bar presents a place to relax and chill out. Do not miss the Happy Hour between 4 - 6 pm from Monday to Friday. We offer a memorable gourmet experience where tapas meets Indian street food. The bar nibbles are served for sharing immediately they are prepared. Our mixologist has created a lovely range of cocktails and mocktails specifically designed for Matsya. We offer from classic cocktails such as Manhattan or Martini to signature cocktails such as Devdas, Barfi, Salaam Bombay or Rang de Basanti inspired by Bollywood movies. Part of the restaurant is the new Bar offering not only cocktails but also Drought Beer, Spirits, Wine, soft drinks and interesting brands of coffees and teas from all over the World. The name Kullu derives from the word "Kulant Peeth", meaning "end of the habitable world". As per legends, during the Great Flood, Manu visited this valley but was unable to cross the Rohtang pass. He named the last settlement he found as Kullu and chose to settle and meditate in what has now become the town of Manali (Manu's Place).
