Description
The Rex Delicatessen is a gorgeous lunchtime spot and evening
bistro in the heart of Mayfair, only a short walk from Bond Street or Green Park. Located on Bruton
Place, the small stable space has been transformed into an elegant
dining destination, with many of its original features remaining
with the addition of reclaimed wood
furniture.
Sri Lankan-born chef Larry Jayasekara (of The Cocochine fame) is at the helm, creating a delightful evening menu inspired by his travels. He's teamed up with Rowler Estate in Northamptonshire to source delicious, fresh ingredients to create decadent pies and plates like aged beef tartare and spiced roasted pumpkin sour.
Swing by for a smokey BBQ maitake mushroom and truffle butter sandwich during the day, or venture down in the evening to enjoy a glass of wine with a friend.
