Through The Woods is an 18-seat restaurant in Hornsey.

Born from supper club Chicken of The Woods, this homely restaurant aims to be environmentally friendly and largely vegetarian. Chef Chris Slaughter, formerly of Smokehouse, is the man behind the idea and grows produce in an allotment while working closely with local producers.

The nightly tasting menu costs £45 per head, or £60 with wine. Dishes include the likes of lavender with frame honey and raspberries, fennel poached courgettes and beets baked in a clay pot.
