Description
One of Notting Hill's most exciting eateries, HAYA fuses Mediterranean cooking with the culture and cuisine of Tel Aviv. The brainchild of founder Victoria Paltina, this colourful Kensington Park Road restaurant serves up a selection of seasonally-changing small plates, from zaatar duck breast and freekeh ristotto, to seared tuna with dukkah and a homemade labneh.
Opening for breakfast every day, early birds can find some stunning morning eats on the menu. Fronting goat's cheese and egg white omelettes, mango puree-topped porridge and fresh coffee, it's an excellent place to kick start your day. Or if you're popping in for a bite later on in the day, their fresh-pressed juices and brunch plates are sure to fuel your afternoons.
Their bar offering keeps things simple, with a range of classic cocktails infused with a little HAYA innovation to keep them fresh. As for the wine, the restaurant boasts a small but carefully-curated list of Israeli and Old World bottles alongside a handful of organic options.
