Having wowed Londoners for years with their quirky pop ups and
delicious food, the team at the London Shell Co. have taken the
ultimate plunge, opening a permanent restaurant based in Paddington
Central. Unlike conventional restaurants however, this spot
replaces bricks, mortar and cement with a canal boat, instead
offering its guests a dining experience on the idyllic Regent's
Canal.
Open for lunch and setting sail 3 nights a week down the canal,
the restaurant plays up its waterside theme, serving guests a range
of seasonal seafood dishes and fine delicacies. Guests can expect
to find themselves drawn to the Morecambe Bay oysters, smoked cod's
roe and burnt leek toast, and queen scallops served with a pea
puree as soon as they see the menu.
To enhance the flavours and help keep things moving swimmingly,
the bar is stocked full of fine wines and international spirits,
with the expert mixologists flairing up 5 signature London
cocktails of guests to try out.
