Description
Seasonal dishes and creative plates in south London.
This neighbourhood eatery on Queens Road in Peckham bringing a twist to the area's high-flying dining scene. The brainchild of couple team Amy Corbin and Patrick Williams, Kudu serves seasonal South African-inspired plates with herbs and vegetables gathered from the duo's own garden plots.
The pair are mixing their own heritage with that of the local area, sourcing much of their produce from local suppliers. Williams, formerly sous chef at Bethnal Green's Paradise Garage, has brought his expertise as well as his South African roots to the menu, cooking up playful twists on well-known classics. The Kudu brunch, for one, is an enticing event where options run from Boerewors sausage, white beans and onion soubise to French toast chocolate babka with bacon or candied kumquat.
