What they say:
Giant, novelty-sized pizza fans are in for a treat as Voodoo Rays opens its fourth site in Peckham. They’ll be bringing their trademark 22-inch pizzas (served by the slice or the whole shebang) to its first South London site, alongside a selection of brunch dishes. We’re talking a breakfast pizza – a weaponised hangover cure if we’ve ever heard one – and other plates like baked eggs cooked in their deck oven. You can wash these all down with beer, spirits or even cocktails, which are unique to this venue.
What we say:
Peckham continues its rise as the #NextBigThing with the addition of Voodoo Rays, the quirky pizza joint and actual best idea when you’re drunk. This venue is their biggest yet, boasting up to 80 covers, but they’ll still be delivering their delicious array of alternative pizzas. Expect toppings like The Meat is On, which is minced steak, pepperoni, ham, smoked streaky bacon and mozzarella, as well as Giorgia Moroder, made from goats’ cheese, sun-bluch tomatoes, courgette and mozzarella.
