The Phene
When it comes to casual restaurants in Chelsea, The Phene is certainly up there. Technically a well-known pub dating back to 1853, it boasts three floors, one of which includes a colourful dining area. Here you'll find watercolours and abstract art strung to the walls, stretches of teal sofas and a kitchen fronted by Michelin-trained chef Sidy Kounta. The menu consists of an array of classics mixed with modern takes, such as charred leeks with ricotta, scotch bonnet and honey to start. Wolf down grilled venison with parsnip mash for mains, or hearty fish pie.
